I don't think there are too many 'social networking' niche directories

 

There are lots of free directories that you can submit your site. One of them is directorycritic.

 

DirectoryCritic is one of the most popular but it's no way the best list. Info.Vilesilencer is one of the best considering quality of directories and other lists including http://www.web-directories.ws/ are much larger
