I see this is one of the popular plugins, but i haven't tried it yet. Do visitors tend to browse more and click through more in your blog with this plugin?
I don't know if it they actually browse more of your blog, since I haven't tested specifically for that, but it sure makes it easier for them to get to older posts if they want to. Same goes for Google; since it links to more of the older index pages (blog.com/page/whatevernumber) google is more likely to give link juice to those as well as to the individual posts on them.
So its got potential SEO benefits, that sounds pretty good, il install it tomorrow. Currently ive been trying not to go overboard with plugins, trying to keep plugins to what i actually need and want and not get too carried away, but i keep getting drawn back to PageNavi, and as it seems popular, il give it a try. i have read some articles that this helps for seo.. and i forgot the reason why and the article address. but i haven;t yet installed it in my blog.
I'm using the plugin And yes, visitor will spend more time browsing.. but the content must be equally interesting
