I'd like to start a challenge for affiliates. If we could get a few affiliates together, choose 1 product and contacted the publisher to judge the winner and maybe through in a bonus aswell. The same product for everyone for 1 month, any tactic you wish to get the most sales. Would you be interessted? It could be a good learning curve, and also make you some money!
I might be interested only if there was no ppc because someone could spend like 300 dollars and get like 10 sales and break even with the pay per click, then just win the challenge and get that money which wouldnt be fair. I say any form of bum marketing

I nominate my diet affiliate program (in my sig) I'm willing to send out a $250 bonus for whoever gets to 10 sales first (that's over 100% commission altogether) I'll give $100 to whoever gets to 10 sales second and $50 to whoever gets there third. You'll need a PayPal account to receive the money. This is a good market to do such a competition as it's quite large. Plenty of space to compete. To make it fair, my competition will not allow any PPC. C'mon bum marketers - give it a try! If anyone is interested in taking part I may make another thread for this.
Well, right now I only have one program (in my sig) - I am also working on a wedding program but it will not be done for some time. Of course I cannot pay out bonuses for anyone to promote other people's programs
Well, everyone sort of has their own niches they're good at and some that are not. Some have established sites in their niche, some do not. It seems like a fluff challenge since no one is starting from the same position.
I was about to say the same thing. nobody is going to waste time in a niche if they know they can make more money in another... well, why would you anyway.
I agree in a way. And I do recommend to people that it's best to promote something you actually know something about, that you can write about easily. It's much easier for me to write articles about some things than it is to write articles about other things. I've tried selling some products on CB in niches that I don't know anything about and I've never had much success doing that. That being said, I think diet/weight loss is a pretty easy thing to write about. But that's for me, maybe not for others. I do think for the contest to really be fair it'd have to be something like only traffic from EZineArticles.com counts and it'd have to be something where people had new domains set up specifically for this. Well to solve this: A publisher with many programs like ncmedia He could post like 10 programs that we could get the sales from and that would cover a lot of niches
This is a great idea Maybe someone can set up a webpage or blog where all the vendors place their products and we affilaites can go to get the appropriate marketing materials..articles, keywords, banners,ebook covers, etc.... Just my 2sense...
