Like bank robbers etc. Its more harder to become a robber than to start a legit business. What do you think is the matter with the criminals.
I suppose they see it as getting something for nothing, but really if you take into account the time and effort they need to plan, and the danger of being caught, I don't see how it's worth it.
Now its harder to commit and with technology they are easier to catch so I think major crime such as bank robberies will go down but common crime such as pikpocketing will go up.
With some criminals (better ones) it's more about the achievement than actually getting any money. I kind of think thats good, I mean they could be caught, so it's always going to get the addreniline (sp?) going, plus it's usually about bettering themselves, which is a good quality in anyone. Ever had a speeding ticket? Thats breaking the law, don't see why you should get the death penalty for that. Actually, I don't see why the death penalty should be carried out at all, just makes you as bad (or worse) than the criminal in question.
To be really successful criminal needs practice and time, just like any other business. It’s not easy to be good criminal. They waste their time to be successful in crime, instead to do something else not risking their freedom.
They're scum. Sums it up really. Maybe they're just to stupid, ignorant or arrogant to follow the same rules of law as everyone else.
Criminals who opted their life like that should be counseled first. If they have this as their natural instinct then they should be removed and if they are doing this all due to any kind of problem then they should be provided some help... Thats what I think...
Try living in South Africa, we have so many criminals here, and they seem to just get away with it, they get arrested but are out the next day on bail. I really don't like criminals, its the way they have been brought up, they should pay for what they have done and not get away with it!!!!
If we would help them, we would not hate them as they would have help to move on and not to steal... Answer honestly... You would be a poor, starving. homeless? because your parents trashed you, you have no knowledge/school, no work, no money, no life, you have to steal to eat. would you steal or would you die starving? second: you would be born in some place where is no healthy water, no food, poor people, poor places, gangs robbing you out on weekly basics, no school nothing at all what is a normal. what would you do? steal to survive or ask for help? if you would ask for help, what do you expect? help of course, and now.. would you help someone who has nothing, just like that, but asked you for help (to get him up somewhere to society)? -if no, then why dont we kill them all and make perfect society without criminals ? (would save us space in prison and money on lawyers, police etc) -if yes, and you would help, then you can change the World, a part of it, one man change one part, second do the same, third and so on and so on, and at the end, humanity can change not the 'part' of the World, but almost certainly WHOLE World... just my opinion on the todays situation... of coruse there are criminals who want to be criminals, so why would we tolerate it ? prison and work for penny per hour ! well then give them a second chacne and see if it works
