Details:
This banner will be used for http://kittencaptions.com/ and you are under complete control of color use, font and style. We want a cellshaded and/or cartoon look and feel. You must create a cartoon cat or a symbol/logo that is unique. This site will be centered around "lolcats" and captioned humor photos.

Requirements: Clean and professional look: something easy to stylize a website around. Only copyright free images or original designs may be used. If using a image - please be prepared to include documentation.

You must be willing to sell all rights to said images and any logo or characters.
If you go above and beyond our expectations, you will receive $75.00. (30+45 bonus), but do not be disappointed if you receive an amount in between.

logo idea/ mainly for site use, suggestions welcomed, I can work on a banner if you like what you see or you want something changed.

 

I would add whiskers, Spots and change facial expression. Also, make the viewpoint a slight angle. Here's some pictures that we like that could be incorporated, The facial expression here , You can even angle the face a bit like this and use the expression here.

sensetarget: We need something more cat like, a focus on the face would be better for your style/detail I think. The two previous links, and this picture this face/coloration.

TheDesignGun: Best entry so far! If you could see the links above, any of those cats listed above could improve the face. I think this one would be best influence on your work. Just change the face to show more expression.

Hmm: Not really into it. I need more catlike features. I don't like just a circle as a face when used in this way. Try to add a more catlike headshape. Whiskers + better eyes would help too.

the green didn't seem right so i changed 'im into a tabby.

 

While my wife and I love the style, we feel it is to much like Icanhascheezburger. We need to be clearly a different site.

We love the little kittens in the background, but wish they were more of the main focus of the image. If you could bring them out a bit, we would love to see what you can do.
