... why didn't you just make a post in the service section asking for an exact replication of the logo in the first place? Why did you have to make all of us make unique designs - when you already have your eyes set on something?

And to not even bother giving feedback to people, is just horrible.

PS That logo is copyright you do know that, and by asking for a near similar replica, you are losing your credibility.

So please don't say it's not "their logo", as what you are trying to make h3llas do is "modify" indiewire's logo to fit yours. I suggest you rethink again about your decision.

jasoncdu: I didn't ask for a duplicate for that logo. After seeing some of the entries for myself, and not liking what I was seeing, I searched for something that I would like. I found indiewire, and asked for a comparison, but then seeing the comparisons, asked for a 'duplicate' hoping someone would be creative enough to do something with it.

Don't you worry, my logo will not be a copy of indiewire.

what do you mean wasted time?
I didn't force people to enter? people wanted to enter for the money, obviously.

This is a contest, and there will be multiple entries and 1 winner. Are all the contests on this board wasting people's time?

Stop being silly because you either couldn't submit an entry or your entry did not get chosen.

None of the logos were to my liking so I chose to find something on my own and see if someone can do something with it.

End of story. This contest is over, simply because it seems many of the people that have entered are little kids that cannot handle criticism and are now sad because I didn't like their logo.

I have found a winner, and am working with the person to design a great logo.

I would however like to say that some of the logos were outstanding, although did not either fit the theme of my site, or my site layout, but were simply beautiful.
