i'v ordered new dedicated from WsServer. They promise me 100mbit line. At begening i had less then 600k/sec download rate. After many contact they boost me upto 2meg/sec. But i do need 100mbit. After, my server crash when i tryed to flush my iptables rules. As they dont offer RPM ( Remote Power Manager ) i need to contact them to reboot my server and again i need to wait ... So far i only have trouble with them and their support seem very slow to reply. I just like there price, but i think i get what i pay for 30$ a month dedicated server :s What you guys think of them ?
Er, at $30/mo., I would strongly question whether this really was a dedicated server and not a VPS or something. Power and cooling, insurance, etc., and other items eat well into that $30/mo. You might consider looking elsewhere in the future. We've been providing low cost dedicated servers for over 11 years now, and would be happy to quote you based on your current requirements. Feel free to PM or email me. Thank you.
PIII 900MHZ 80gig Hard Drive 512 Mem Ram 1T Bandwidth 5 IP I do think it's a dedicated, however the mounting partitionment look strange. but i had a huge list of firewall rules, when i flueshed them the server crash. As they dont even provide RPM i cant reboot my self ... this is mad. Anyway i'd be happy to move somewhere else that offer similaire spec as above for same price.
Yeah, that is a bit dated. Sure man, we could build the following for you which will still old would be much better than what you have now. 3800+ Athlon64 2GB DDR2-800 250GB HD And we can throw in the 1000GB bandwidth and the 5IP you currently have. This would be $89/mo. and since you did not mention a control panel, does not include one. I assume based on the numbers you gave there is not one, as it costs the provider that or more just for the cPanel license, even in volume. Setup is normally $89, but I would be willing to waive that. You would be looking at a much better system from a company that has been around over 11 years now. No there is no remote reboot included, but we do reboot servers upon request and are reachable in the unlikely event that is ever needed. You really should not need someone to be rebooting your system all the time. I'm assuming the machine you have has some issues? Anyway, if this is something that sounds attractive to you, let me know. Build time would probably be a day or so depending on our current build schedule. Thank you.
Do keep in mind what I quoted is about 400% better, and only costs 200% more than what you are currently paying. Best of luck.
