I agree, good article thats been around for a while for anyone needing it, and a bit of a time saver.
i was searching for such a list of all directories scripts........Thanks you for helping me to choose a good script.... i found the Phpld script the best.
It's miles out of date Spider-Man I did try to contact the owner but their contact form was hanging so will post here in the hope he can pick up on this thread. Name: PHPLynx URL: http://www.phplynx.com/ or http://phpLynx.com/forum/ The correct pricing structure is: Free version - Free Attribute link removed - $30.00 30 Day Full Version Trial - $20 Full Version with Backlink(encoded) soon to be open. - $45 Attribure link removed - $30 Support is absolutely free although priority is given to paid version for obvious reasons. No support will be given for independant mods that are made unless provided by their respective developers.
It is a useful info..thanks! didn't realized there are that many scripts in the world..it is better to have a detail review for each script...
I think he may have gotten the list from here ( but I could be wrong) but it also needs updating http://www.blong.info/list-of-directory-scripts.php
It typifies the nature of some site owners, they start something, get bored half way through and fail to maintain. Sad, as that list could have been good.
There is nothing faster than DP PM... Contact the owner http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=33776
your article looks good! i prefer skalinks to every. it really useful and cheap directory script! Thanks, Mustafa
It's really too old. Here is another web directory script that might interest you Name: Subrion Web Directory Script URL: http://www.subrion.com/product/directory.html Demo: http://demo.subrion.com/directory/ Prices: http://www.subrion.com/order.html Free support and life time upgrades. It's more created for a community and has a built in powerful CMS. You can create collaborative publishing/blogging as well. Lots of features and good flexibility
I'm puzzled here Simon Goofin? Why are you promoting another script when you already have vested interests in esyndicat? Is there something to read into this?
Thanks for share buddy... Several days ago, I have a plan to build some web directory... But I think The PHPLD still the best
Picking the most suitable directory script for you it is a big step, but not the only one for eastablishing a good directory. A lot of other factors will influence the quality of a directory.
