Yea, I thought of posting this there because I know there is always one meat-head that will deny all rationale to make believe they are right.

Which they are after all.. Right?

And yea, soy's supposed to be pretty bad. I don't eat it.

Most 'meat heads' do not use soy as they believe it to raise estrogen.

Many studies 'you know that science' has shown it has no real adverse effects.

    I myself use soy w/o a problem.
    --
I however limit my soy intake, I do not use soy above other sources and only supplement with it on small quantities.

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson71.htm

    here is some info.

many things can increase estrogen, many items you'd normally not suspect ;)
With anything not over doing it is the key. I personally don't see anything wrong with some soy. Would I totally change my protein intake to soy? Hell no.

Will I eat soy beans, drink soy milk on occasion or use soy protein powders? YES

All the journal articles they cited are at least ten years old. Here is a more recent one I found: http://jn.nutrition.org/cgi/content/abstract/132/3/570S

Sum of article: Soy slightly good for old women, no effect on men.

I am still going to watch my soy intake though until I get a complete answer though:

I would love to see a 12 weekk case study between him and and someone eating protein using a heavy lifting program program and see who acquired the most mass. I don't think he would bulk.

Hmm, I think the guy eating the meat and 'protein' drinks would have more mass, considering I admitted it on.. page 1?

Exaggerating to disprove a so called myth, well if you don't see why people wont take you seriously I don't know what to tell you.

Like in the vid you posted the guy claims to have 'no body fat' which of course is false, yet people take the guy seriously.

I have to say I have met those on a raw or vegan diet and they are the some of the healthiest and strongest I have seen. They are often quite muscular and look youthful. I think meat is overrated

Around 3:40 in the video he says:

"It used to be blood had to be cooked before you could look at it under a microscope"

    What a load of BS.

Lol yeah. I actually have gained more weight than I have in my entire life ever since I stopped eating meat. Maybe my metabolism is just slowing down, but I don't think so. I think I am just eating healthier. Thinner is not alway healthier: I used to weight like 130lbs at 6'3'' while seriously eating about 1kg of meat every other day.

Anyways, this discussion is getting pretty pointless like most discussions on forums.
