    You might want to consider getting your facts straighter then, because it's not a matter of money, it's a matter of the basic (illegal) principle.

    @Pipes - I actively use phpLynx and phpLD. Needless to say which one's best.

    @Loco.M, recently many guys seems don't like phpld, but i have not ideas why they still use phpld for their directories, it's a very interesting topic... :)

    Have you ever had to upgrade any version? Ohhh it's a real pain in the a$$.

    It's almost like once you try and go with it, you become locked in, because there is no easy way about reverting to an alternative.

    Then again, maybe they are just waiting on something better to come out. hehe

    Yes, I could see how updates could be a pain if you done some modding to the script.
    I didn't have anything major happen with the my last upgrade.
    You can Always make a backup of your files and database, then you're not "locked in"

    which I think is pretty much how any upgrade script would go.. Once you start updating the database and files, there is usually only one way out.

    btw.. I gain nothing from this,, David, Bobby and the phpld mods have always been very helpful to me and as observed in their forums.
