My digg user page has a PR8??

This is weird. My personal digg user page is showing a PR rank of 8.

Is this the same for everyone else?

So this can be used to give my sites high PR8 backlinks right?

 

digg itself as a site has a pr8 so when you go to your profile it shows the same pr as digg..

also.. i don't see a pr8 on your profile from the toolbar..

I thought something was really weird about that. I kept refreshing and it always showed PR8, I even closed my browser and went directly to my digg page and it still displayed PR8

But its PR0 now hahhaahha, that was odd.

 

yes, as posted above digg.com has the pr8 . you must be using a tool that just gives pr of main page. use google toolbar PR checker for inner pages. BTW your profile is a pr0

 

I'm showing your page as unranked for PR. Digg may have a PR8, but your page doesn't.

 

too bad you can't give some of that PR8 juice to your sites

Telling the world your Digg page is PR8 when it's really PR N/A = Priceless

That reminded me of when I first got into SEO and PageRank used to be estimated immediately when a new pages was created. I recall creating a few Geocities doorway pages because when you created a new account there the main page was PR7 (thought I could get PR7 links). How naive I was back then!

What they were doing is taking the PR of the home page and every level below that assuming the page would drop one PR point, so used that as an estimate for new pages. It's no wonder at that time so many people believed PR would drop by 1 if you go one folder deep and so you have to put all files in the root of the domain

Consider that Kevin Rose's profile is only -p) PR6, and the #1 member on digg MrBabyMan is PR7, then realize there's no way in hell such a small profile is bigger than Kevin or BabyMan's.

Before posting such things double check every things.

You should refresh your browser, and will show u "PR info Not Available"...
