Can debit/atm card verify paypal?

I have a debit card from State bank of India.. On the front it has a Maestro logo, and on the back, it has Cirrus logo..Can my card be used to verify paypal?

 

You can't verify your PayPal account with any Debit Card from India whether issued by ICICI, IDBI, HDFC, UTI, SBI anything. You've only the way to verify your account is with Credit Card or VCC.

 

I verified my paypal account with a visa debit card from the US. I have no idea how it works with cards from india though?

You cannot verify paypal with an Indian debit card

But you can do it with a debit card from a HDFC bank account. You need to go to online hdfc and go the option netsafe and then you can put your debit card numbers and a virtual credit card can be generated and it can be used to verify your paypal account. But paypal might also ask for address and other identity proofs in that case.

The safest and the best option to verify paypal is to use an actual credit card however as a VCC might create problem after it expires. Moreover, paypal might block your account temporarily if they think VCC is not genuine.

 

Buy a virtual prepaid credit card online. A VISA ATM/Debit card can be used to verify it also.

what is entropay some one said me it supports some indian bank debit cards and using entropay we could fund n verify paypal(not illegal because it's something like payoneer card )

 

1) Add your debit card to NET CARDS ( service by many indian banks )
2) Add that NET CARD to EntroPay and load it
3) Add Entropay to Paypal

Debit cards are not allowed to verify PP only credit cards can do the job..

 

All the virtual cards will result in a kind of limit imposed some day or the other while a real CC will have evidence of your identity will help you in verifying and restoring your account if limited.

VISA DEBIT CARD can be used to verify Paypal. Don't use Mastercard credit or debit card. I have a Mastercard credit card and I'm having problem to cash-out.

Due to card scheme rules they can't process MasterCard withdrawals.

Visa Electron here and it works. Issued at ING Romania. However, even outside India, some debit cards get rejected, so choose wisely.

 

Punjab national bank's new debit/atm card which have mastercard logo can verify paypal , and you can get the expuse number , instantly by netbanking or calling customer care staff or look at the tollfree number behind the card and ask them the code from paypal , there you go.

No you cannot use the debit card for paypal verification.You need CC for that.

Because as far as I know Indian ATMs can't help in verifying paypal.
