what? that doesn't make sense. if you don't have traffic, your ads won't get clicked and you make no money. i still don't get your point - if you run a successful adsense revenue-making site, then it's because your site gets traffic and the ads are well placed. this has absolutely nothing to do with your PR. i'm done with this argument/discussion though. it makes no sense.
Alonski - here's your quote that I'm confused about: are you referring to adsense revenue? because making money 'on PR' does not make any sense. pardon the bad pun.
If you got good PR on a site you can sell links to people and make money. But with Google cracking down on link sales, kind of a risky business now a days.
wait - okay, i think i've understood you wrong... so you're basing the price of your backlinks on PR? that makes more sense. either way, PR isn't as important than people think it is. If you're buying backlinks (which I'll never do or suggest to anyone), I'd look mainly at the site's relevance to mine, and what the anchor text would be. Then I'd look at the amount of traffic coming into the site and how many backlinks that site has (and from where) to determine if it's a high authority site. either way, well done selling backlinks based on PR
That proved nothing - his starting bid was $50, and he's now begging people to buy them for $10. Most experienced SEOers wouldn't even consider buying one of these links unless the content is relevant to their site. And even then, a lot of people won't buy backlinks whatsoever.
That is not my site and I am just testing if I can make money off of it. It was just a thought that came into my head. Its worth a shot right? Anyways I myself have purchased links before for $20. It got 3 sites to PR 2 and then I sold them each for $20. Not that great of a profit but hey I was new to the whole "making money off of the internet." I still am which is why you see me begging for $10. Anyways people like PR and as long as that goes on people will continue to buy links with PR attached. I am not scamming anyone.
I agree with you, and it's definitely not a scam. People will certainly buy links based on PR - it's completely worth trying it out. I wasn't trying to be an ass... I just misunderstood what you were saying, and I was trying to figure it out. I get what you're saying now. Anyway, good luck with it - hopefully it works out for you.
All right... I have been making some nice money from just PR and I don't think its right to steer people wrong. Anyways I hope it works out for me too =)
