Now it seems fewer and fewer people are using egold ... will Liberty Reserve be the next egold in terms of popularity? What is your experience in using LR?
It's a good e-currency, I am using it for about 5 months. But any way you should be careful that will not happen to you that happened to 1mdc users. Thanks Rz
Could you kindly elaborate what happened to 1mdc users? What is "1mdc" anyway? I am kinda new to Liberty Reserve. Thanks in advance.
1mdc was a ecurrency like egold, infact a back-up system for egold. Users were creating 1mdc accounts and move the funds to their 1mdc acct from egol (Bail and unBail) Then e-gold has frozen all 1mdc's accounts and ppl have lost their money. 1mdc then shutdown after a few weeks. Some of my friends have lost $2k with 1mdc. There is always a risk with ecurrencies. Rz.
Oh, yeah, I remember hearing that story a while back. Never paid much attention to it, as I am not a heavy user of egold myself. Thanks for the info, anyways. So, you are using LR. Satisfied, so far?
LR is MUCH better then e-gold nowadays. They don´t freeze accs for no reasons like e-gold does, also LR is worth almost it´s value if you sell it to an exchanger unlike e-gold where you loose MUCH money in fees. So I use e-gold only if there are sellers who only accept e-gold. As seller I take e-gold only with an additional fee so I suggest to LR instead of e-gold
all the ecurrencies are high risk, you also need to know that they are used for so called HYIP, which are mostly scams
You mean e-gold? LR is going to be as "large" as e-gold quite soon and you definitely go better with them then with e-gold.
But this doesn´t have to do anything with the ecurrency itself. HYIPS only take them because they are non-reversible but of course there exist enough legit services which accepts those ecurrencies as payment option
Hi, before I get into LR, is there any reliable (read as low cost and fast) exchanger you can recommend?
Depends from where you come. But the fees usually are between 2-5% max. For example www.goldexchange.eu for 3.9% (if you are within the EU, + 20$ anywhere in the world)
I am from the Philippines, the Pearl of the Orient! Hmmmm ... any idea if there is any exchanger that is a bit cheaper? 3.9% is kinda acceptable, but the +20$ anywhere in the world outside EU is a bit expensive. Well, 2% would have been perfect! Because we usually have to add another 2.5% currency exchange cost to be able to get the cash into our local currency, eh?
Yes, you are right, and don't forget to tell us that the real owner of LibertyReserve was the webmaster of two scam hyips (minvestment and opentrade). Lot of people lost the money. For that reason the hackers attack every month with DDoS. In black market they are selling the database of Liberty Reserve. I have an account and I open an email account only for that, after DDoS attack of May I receive every day lot of spam, why? because they haven't got security... It is longterm scam, so, you (and me) can use it without any doubts for 1-2 year, after that...you will lost the money.
fuck e-gold and all their partner..e-gold is scam, just god know how much money they ripped from Peoples E-gold and E-bullion are the biggest known scams
lol who told this?does even the E-gold site accept to cash out their fuckin idiot money?you have to cash out with exchanger with 20% like u just recieve 80 from 100..and most of times your account get close before you be able to cash out or even no one buy you the amount...even online exchangers hate e-gold 99% of online exchangers sites -> e-gold to wmz-> 1.5 to 1.7 e-gold = 1 wmz just scammers use e-gold with same rate
