Top 5 in Google SE in 3 Days!

I started a page (Last link in my sig) and for the first week it was in the top 5 for it's keyword. Now I don't even think it's in the SE.

What happened? Why did it stay for a week and then drop out of existence?

It's due to freshness of your content that's why they rank your site right away but if you don't maintain the site it will also drop quickly.

 

well how do you maintain a one page site? Change up the content daily?

 

You should not to stop promoting and building links on your site. Get more backlinks for your site.

 

Well, I do link building for my site using my targeted keywords as anchor text to maintain rankings.

I suppose it's the obvious: "birthday compatibility chart", but why make us guess?

Another question I would have is: how did get it into the top five in the first place?

the background color that I have a difficult time reading it. It's possible that
one of your competitors reported you for attempting to hide text.

I ever experience this before..
after uploading a new page to my site.. it's already in first page of serp..
but after some times.. it drop to page 2 or 3..

should I update the content frequently? I don't think it's not good.. if we have hundreds of pages in our site.. should we update them frequently.. that's a big job.

 

It's not hard to get on the top, what's hard is to stay there.

Always update your content to be freshen up. Check Google's guidelines, maybe you just missed something.

 

My idea is just give some powerful backlink to the site once in a while may be PR3 or PR4 this would help in sustaining the ranking as the PR pages have good authority

Also could be due to you use the same browser and click your own site - try another browser first

It's a new site, and Google give a push to the fresh sites with content then it will drop to no were...
Keep on building quality links and hopefully you will show up back in the results soon.
BTW: it's not a competitive keyword

 

Just a quick heads up to anyone who looks at this post.
It's in the adult section of DP and the links in that post take you sites with graphic porn images.
Just in case the kids are around, which they where when I looked :/
