So, a great idea and something a lot of people would want but what do you think of being an internet entreprenuer? Easy or Hard? How you got started? How much potential? - Your views please, cheers
Sky's the limit when doing business online and it's quite hard when you are just starting up. But once established, you will only have to do some maintainance from time to time but it's better if you still are active in the promotion of your sites.
The potential needs to be with in you... if you do then you can succeed any where. Online or offline /G
I think being an Internet Entrepreneur, you need to work double as hard as a normal Entrepreneur. There is so much competition out here and barriers to entry are nearly zero. According to Porter's law: 1. Low barrier to entry 2. Low barrier to exit 3. Powerful suppliers (many suppliers for anything) 4. Power buyers (they have a lot to choose from) This isn't an easy industry.
Part of the beauty of being an online entrepreneur is the low start up cost and massive potential audience
Everyone thinks they can be a hotshot internet entreprenur, but almost no one is willing to put forth the effort and time it takes to be even remotely successful. As a guy who's currently working a fulltime job, let me tell you -- this "hobby" is way harder than a normal 9-5. No one's around to tell you what to do, and you're all by yourself against millions of other people who want to make a name for themselves. Unless you've got good work ethic and real ambition to make a living off the internet, don't get your hopes up
