I really appreciate your previouus advice...but, nothing seems to help my placement in Google. Backlinks, I've been adding on the average of 10 a day for over six months now, on tiop of what I already had. Content, I've tried changing the format of the site, adding relative content, header tags, etc. Nothing seems to matter. I consistantly stay between 10th and 7th place but haven't moved up in years. Would it be possible for someone, or more than one, to physically take a look at the site, the keywords, title and description, content, and give me some opinions? Th4e site is the first one in the signature. Maybe there's something missing or something I've sone wrong. Thanks in advance for your4 input.
IMHO: based on wordtracker Searches Keyword 148 pedal cars 111 pedal car pedal cars are more searched, yet have you've tried link trading with the same niche or having blog for your site. For me attaining a high SERP the site must have quality links, submitting it on the right category. and also check your Link popularity (LP), if it is continuously growing on other SE. and also the design is a plus for having LP.
Here's my two cents: Target "pedal cars" Revise your Title. Make "pedal cars" first. Use header tags. I see that you have a single h1, which is good, but the text within it is too long. Actually it's a paragraph. Make it shorter and make sure to include "pedal cars." And oh, don't use <p> within <h1> tags. Use h2 and h3 tags if possible. I see that you have a number of backlinks, mostly from directories. Get some more from related/on-topic websites, not just directories. If you have to pay for links, then do it wisely. Also, try finding directories that are in your niche. Your "cool links" page is a pain to look at. Although I am a fan of reciprocal linking, make sure that you exchange with sites that are related to you and are on the same vertical. Right now there's just too much in there. There are tons more of work you need to do both on-site and off-site. I hope I helped in some way. Best of luck
Also, check out what the top 3 placed competitors are writing for their titles and meta tags. You can often find some good bits of info in there.
you only have around 1,300 backlinks according to Yahoo Site Explorer. Remember, usually Google filtered more useless links (that's my experience whenever I use Google webmaster tools). So probably Google thinks you only have approximately 1,000 backlinks. And if all of them are not quality links, don't argue if you are still below your competitors.
He said it all. I hope you understood this. It is your On page that is weak. Keep the following para outside the h1.. "Welcome to Pedal Car Plus Specializing in pedal cars, pedal plane......" Just keep Pedal cars Plus inside the H1.. I would even suggest only keep "Pedal Cars" Inside the H1.. Forget the "Plus" Also on each individual page you have a link back to home page with anchor PEDAL CAR PLUS HOME.. Only keep pedal cars as the anchor.. like "Pedal cars" Home take care of the individual page names.. separate keywords by underscore or dash (Algorithmically Underscore is suppose to be bad, but DIGG.com uses it anyway).. and don't use words like page, C, web etc Make it a descriptive.. like htt p:// pedalcarplus.com/ford_roadster_pedal_cars.html What is htt p://pedalcarplus.com/32fordweb.html ??? Don't only depend on directories.. Do some article submissions.. Get some good in content one way links... Link exchanges never hurt me, but keep it under 10 links, keep it relevant... I think you can easily rank well... It is a great site... But you need to work on it...
Are you using the proper anchor text? Are you posting in the same forums each day or different ones? Try adding backlinks to 10 new places each day.
