Has anyone done affiliate marketing on MySpace? I read in a few spots you can get in trouble but I see people still doing it all the time?

Yes you can get in trouble abusing myspace account for marketing. If you want to earn some money from your myspace account then use cubics.com and there ppm ads. But if you want to learn how to use social sites like facebook, twittwer,... I would suggest to join thirtydaychallenge.com, where you can learn that from the best people in the business. And all that for free. Pre-season already begin, but real start is 1. august.

I would stay away from marketing affiliate programs on Myspace since it against the TOS for most of the major affiliate programs. You are still able to promote affiliate offers via Facebook. However, I think it is pretty much a waste of time doing so since that form of advertising affiliate offers has become extremely saturated.

Most of the networks do not allow advertising on myspace.

if you actually do a media buy or use google content network to target myspoace, you can do it legally.
