    You can always make a good estimate using statistics recorded over a long span of time say 5 - 10 years.

    have just seen one newish site I read quite a bit go from PR2 to PR4 on an internal page. no changes anywhere else I can see at all.

    either it was / is a partial update, a glitch, or its coming fairly shortly.

    ive seen just the odd page change value in the past, and then theres those ones where a page goes grey, or from grey to white nowhere near the main exports.

    Yeah but with higher PR you can sell ad space for higher.

    I mean if a guy somehow has PR7 but only gets like 20 visitors a day he is still just as good as someone who has PR7 and gets 2000 visitors a day

    Did you notice your traffic go up? Or conversion rate? :)

    I haven't seen any PR change, though a friend of a friend told me about a guy he knew who heard it from his girlfriend that the PR update was happening. Kinda like seeing Bigfoot.
