Hi Right i'm just want to vent some anger on why every single solution of me making money on the internet is against me I'm 15 so this rules me out from applying to any ad or affiliate network, why ? Why can't i make money? So this basically abolishes most goals on making money on the internet. If any of you have any suggestions about how a 15 year old could make some money on the internet i would really really appreciate it Cheers
Hang around in the buy forums, Buy ebooks, read, read, read,read... learn, learn, learn. Show interest, do work..
Make some websites and sell them. Use your parents paypal account. You can sell sites here or at DP. There are many things you can do. Ask your parents to signup for adsense or other affiliate networks. The 18 age is to legally protect them. They don't want to start legal precedings with kids if you got in a contract dispute.
Of cause I'm just doing some research for a summer project to do to earn some money instead of sitting on my arse playing xbox all summer. I'm just finding lots of closed doors and finding no where to go Anyway thanks for the suggestions Keep 'em coming
Well you are right about the age posing various hurdles .. but you can always earn money by providing services and learning from it before you start earning from ad or affiliate sales
Stick to school, you're just a baby, so enjoy life as you've tons of time before carving out a career or business.
I second getting your parents to help create a Affiliate program account, paypal, etc accounts. When I was 15 the internet wasn't mature enough to be able to make money off of. I was stuck with mowing lawns and cleaning out garages, etc.. to make cash for the summer. Now a days I can spend 3 days creating an affiliate website and make reoccurring money from that site. To be 15 again and to know what I know now would be a dream come true. lol
I am 15 as well and I've had no trouble. And about those other posts telling you to stick to school. I disagree completely. I would go as far as saying learning about internet marketing is more important then school. The internet gives you real life experience. School teaches you things you don't even want to know.... So continue and by the time you graduate you will have a massive understanding of how things work.
It's not the internet that hates you, it's the laws that prevent minors from entering into legally binding agreements that hate you. These laws are in place for good reason though, to prevent minors from getting screwed over. Speaking as someone below that age of 18 it is still possible to make money on the internet. Just get your parents, who I presume are over 18, to sign up for the services for you. Good luck in the future.
If you think people get mad at you because of your age, just don't give out your age or lie and say your 5 years older. (Don't reply saying "don't lie, bad advice", because everyone does, especially to market something)

That is why adults don't treat you seriously. When you grow up and have to earn an income you don't get the summers off. Employers need you year-round, not just for three months. When September rolls around you leave them high and dry. Why would they want to hire someone to make them money when you are going away in three months?
Don't worry. Use your parents account for business transactions and learn the nuances of internet before you reach 18 years and after that, there is no stopping; you can act independently
