$30 logo contest for globalEdge technologies

    Hello all.

    I need a logo designed for GlobalEdge Technologies. Global Edge Technologies is an information technology company which provides high-end outsourcing services specializing in web-development, enterprise application development, system integration. The logo should reflect that we are
    1) global company
    2) High technology providers

    The logo will be our corporate identity, so I would need two versions
    1) Web 2.0 compatible logo
    2) Stripped down version for use in print mediums.

    I don't have any specific color preference but please don't use pink. I am open to suggestion about the layout, but may be GlobalEdge can be big letters and technologies in the next line in small font size.

    The contest will officially end in 3 days from now! However if I see something that I really like, I will pay for the design and close the contest. The selected logo will get $30 through paypal.

    I hope to see some really great work. Lets get rolling!

    Capricious, your globe looks kinda odd.

    Guys, great work. I would like to see more sybmolic logos, where the Actual text 'GlobalEdge technologies' is present but not in such big fonts.

    You are on right track.I should be able to use the graphics part as my logo without the 'globalEdge' text too.

    The logos somewhat represent some other company.. Can u make some more, adding some colors, to the symbolic representation of the logo without the globalEdge text.. specializing n representing the requirements.

    This design is somewhat new.. can u add more colors in the logo.. besides the green..It looks like some environmental co.. Let's check it with different colors..

    can u try some other logo as well only focusing on the symbolic representation..

    The logo is very odd. It's doesn't tally our needs..
