Just throw a dice, I think you can be roughly as accurate. Predictions are mainly for the fun of it. You do not know Google algorithm, any predictions are just an educated guess at most.
You may have a site that Google absolutely hate I guess . Wonder how many had a 11 for the predictions.
Prediction Tools are not accurate ... because: Google used to do simple calculation of backlinks, high PR backlinks, high PR you get. But the situation is changed now. They have make changes in the algorithm, as they have started punishing links sellers/buyers. I guess nobody knows what's their algorith now. However, even before these tools were giving estimated result. So these were never dependable. But you can still use these tools for peace of mind ... according to 1 of prediction tool one of my site should be PR5 for at least one and half year .... still waiting
No, they are not accurate. First the Google's algorithm is not known, second you never know what penalty Google gave your site, and etc.
This is just lucky that they are found to be accurate, remember there is just 0 to 10, so there is a high 10% chance that they can be right. Also 7-10 are rare, it brings down the chances to 0 to 6, quite easy to guess it correct.
I think some could be reasonably close but you would have to be an insider of google to get it right.
lol!! I did find one a while ago, a new one that actually predicted about 90% of the the sites we look after correctly prior to the last update, but do you think I can find it again? its not any of the well known ones, it was written on ajax as i remember. if anyone thinks they know this one please post the link?
The PR prediction tools especially the one available at iwebtool.com is a crap. Most of the time, it won't display any result saying your site has too little backlinks to calculate the PR (but in reality, you may be having thousands!) and if at all it displays anything, it would be a definitely inflated figure
Most of the prediction tools grade backlinks from Yahoo using the query linkdomain:mysite.com -site:mysite.com Code (markup): Yeah, Yahoo shows BL's publicly first but if you're talking Google PR, you have to use the webmasters tools to find your BL's and there's no direct equation how to compute a future PR. If you're looking for predicted PR, my best advice is to just keep building links, wait and see what happens. After a few cycles, you should have the method down but don't expect immediate gratification.
