    Hello,
I got myself into a small problem - I've hosted my blog on my website and I tried implementing Google Adsense ads using the plugin manager. All is well but I want to add specific ads onto specific areas. I've taken a screenshot and highlighted in GREEN where I want the ads, could someone please help me?

PS - On the sidebars - the ads are there but I want it to be a bit wider - and the 'wide sky scraper' comes up empty when I implement it on the sidebars :(

    Thanks

First off, Adsense might not show up for 15 or so minutes when you first put it on there.

Secondly, if you want Adsense in those specific places, you need to just edit your overall theme and drop in Adsense code. Check the files out, and mess around a bit. You'll get the hang of it.

I use a plugin for posts called "all in one adsense and ypn" I did run into a problem at first, I put the "pub" in front of my ID and it caused ads not to show up. For the sidebar I added a "text" widget and setup my ad through adsense then copy+paste into the widget. For my other ads I just edited the template. It works out good for me, I end up with the ads I wanted and placed right where I want them.

You don't need to edit the php file every time you write a post just one time.

If you want to add you ads above the title in a single post mode then just go to the single.php

Search the title tag and put the AdSense code above it.

You need to do it once.

BTW putting AdSense above the title isn't recommended if i would see a blog like I would probably leave. it can implies that all you want is money and not giving valuable information.,

Adsense will not show for a while. It takes some time before the correct ads show up. Usually you get public service ads in the beginning.

Try getting the adsense plugins. google it..
