I just signed up for the ebay partner program. I noticed ebay US status is Declined. (We are sorry but we cannot admit you at this time.) Why is that so? Any idea?
Yes, I did sign up yesterday. dont understand why it doesnt allow me to join. But what is CJ and Ebay linked? Is it one having CJ (Cimmission Junction) account will get rejected by Ebay US?
Have you tried asking why they've rejected you? This is what the eBay Partner Network says about it: If you were recently rejected and previously belonged to the eBay affiliate program with CJ, please contact us and provide your PID information so we can further investigate.
thanks... i did contact them by email but no news yet... i dont know what is PID information they are referring to. I did sign up for the program called CJ but wasnt active at all. I didnt know ebay was listed in it as well.
I didn't have any problems switching from CJ to the ebay partner network - and they have some great new widgets and stuff you can use for your site now which I love!
Please dont double post, edit your posts instead. It is possible that they allow only certain countries to be an Ebay Affililiate. We cant confirm this as the results have varied, and me personally being an affiliate from a third world country am an Ebay Affiliate after EPN started. Before that i used to promote Ebay Italy. So it all depends on your website and probably whether you were a successful CJ-Ebay affiliate. But again i cant confirm this, its just a theory.
My guess is you are not from US. Check if there's eBay program of your country, you may apply for it.
