    hi there,

Why do companies register multiple domain names? What use do you have for them and how can you use them to your advantage?

I have 8 domain names and just one main site. the 7 other domain names are descriptive of what my main site is.

How can i use these domain names? I can't use them in ad-words at all to improve relevancy (since google banned advertising with redirecting URLS)

    Thanks for any advice

Other reasons include using the domains for a blog, as multiple entry points, or for a subsite or service.
