First you need to know what LSI is, so read this What is LSI.

When you have read it and you know what LSI is you will also know that "...checking site LSI" is like saying "checking site cholesterol" i.e. it can't be done :)

You could also read The LSI Myth and see why some people make money by playing on the ignorance of others.

There is a whole too for the Latent Semantic Optimization model, which is based on LSA and LSI, partially.

I'm not sure if I can post direct links, so if you want send me a message and I will tell you the site. I got a free test drive of their tool and was very happy with the results. If you are looking for such tool, I guess you realized the importance of ContentDNA and the whole LSO concept. Hmm :)

Maybe read careful what you are linking, first of all this is a very old article. Second

That's in the end of the article, that you probably skipped. Third, LSI is maybe a myth yes, but LSO (Latent Semantic Optimization) is not, read more at latentsemanticoptimization.com

There were also numerous conferences in France and Germany about Latent Semantic Optimization techniques and the importance of them. The new technique Google are using is a very improved version of the old LSI and LSA stuff, thats why Debock explains in his article that the technique is 'of the second generation'.

We can argue a lot on this, semantic techniques are not a myth. They are the future! Never heard of semantic webs? Base of the future web 3.0. The end of massive and useless backlinking messes and google manipulations? It's already working. :)

I don't have to read the articles I linked to because I wrote them, also there is no fact in the articles that is dated and they might just as well have been written yesterday.

If you had read and understood them then you would not have confused the ''semantic web" which is a prediction for the future of the "web" with LSI which is simply a mathematical process.

Next time you go to a SEM conference and there is a Google engineer there, mention LSI and watch them ROFL.

Don't read one of each 10 words, LSI might be something old, a myth, a patent from the 80s, but Latent Semant Optimization is there, or it's just all for nothing? People do researches and make congress for a lost cause according to your words. Take a look at the site I linked instead.

    Thank you.
