This happened last time they had "routine maintenence". My page impressions, and revenue for the day appear to be about 6-7 hours old. The last time the numbers never did recover correctly for the day. I hope this doesn't happen again, and the numbers correct properly!!!
Yup! No earnings from 10 AM when I checked until 3:30 PM, when it came back up. Maybe they will "patch them in" later. But, as you said - "Maintenance" is expensive! Too bad. The day started out so great. .
My numbers are similar. The numbers you see when you log in are usually an hour or so (just a guess) behind anyway. Perhaps it will take a little time for them to "catch up"
Interesting how they can shore up their bottom line by 1% just by not reporting income 2-3 times per year for their millions of adsense members. Guaranteed they still charge on the adwords end.
On by largest site, my logs show over 10,000 page views today, Adsense is showing less than 3,000 And the last time this happened, the stats only updated the revenue for AFTER adsense came back online. It seemed I lost the revenue for 6-7 hours. I guess the way they figure it, we don't get paid for that window of time, but the advertisers do not pay for it, so we are even. And check out what they said on their Adsense Blog: "Site maintenance on June 21 at 10am PDT Tomorrow, our engineers will be performing site maintenance from 10am to 3pm PDT. You won't be able to access your account during this 5-hour time frame, but ad serving and ad targeting will not be affected. In addition, your reports will continue to track your earnings as usual. We've converted the maintenance start time for a few cities around the world:"
my stats didn't update!!!!!!!!!!!!! The numbers are still the same..I hope we get the $ we deserve! no bullshit .. plz google
Well, everytime they do this, I still get charged just as much if not more on my adwords account, but my adsense account NEVER shows the correct amount. Today my earnings are about 3% of what they normally are at this point. "but ad serving and ad targeting will not be affected. In addition, your reports will continue to track your earnings as usual." === BS!!!
My Impressions are way down but my CTR is way up than normal.... Earnings for this out come is about the same hmmm... weird
Wow, I am surprised at that. I would have thought that if publishers didn't get paid, then the Adwords advertisers would not be charged. Then I realized that the ads have been served on my websites the whole time that Adsense was down. And the ads are live exit links from my page to the advertisers, so of course they would charge the Adwords advertisers. Were does this money go, to pay for the "maintenence"????
It will take a few hours to get up to speed. If it doesn't there is not much we can do anyway. Just post here and complain.
