WTS: Social Network Site with $1000+ Month Revenue, Taking Serious Offers

hi,

i am testing the waters about selling my largest, most profitable site. i am not desperate to sell it, as it is a consistent money maker for the past 2 years. i am going back to school to get my masters and could use the extra money for tuition (instead of getting a loan).

-2 year old niche specific site
-branded/established name & recognition
-largest social network site for this niche
-9300+ members
-PR4, many PR3 subpages
-Alexa ranking between 300,000-310,000
-article was published in the largest magazine for this niche about my site
-new article in another magazine is due out in july
-featured in an about.com write up a few months ago for this niche

-social networking site like myspace (custom site layout, use myspace layout codes, upload pics (gallery has over 21,000+ pics already uploaded), send comments, post bulletins, etc.
-fully integrated vb forums

time needed to run the site:
-virtually runs on autopilot, that is the beauty of social networks. occasionally i will have to reset someones password, or help them figure out how to use the site. since the software is similar to myspace, most people can figure out how to use the site on their own. if you really wanted to, you could only check the site a few times a week. i wouldn't advise it though, as users appreciate the visibility of the owner on the site.

revenue:
-$1000+ a month consistently with potential for alot more
-revenue comes from a mix of selling ad spots to vendors who sell products to this niche, adsense, intellitext, & selling upgraded memberships.

traffic:
definitely slower in the spring/summer months, but has little effect on money made (just affects adsense earnings) - sponsors pay flat rate per month, so you are guaranteed "X" amount of dollars per month from each sponsor regardless of overall traffic

Do you have any proof of earnings and adsense proof?

 

whats the url and have you got revenue proof?

 

most sponsors are setup on a paypal subscription...would a paypal screenshot work?

there are 2 sponsors that mail me checks as well.

i will pull up an adsense report screenshot and send it to both of you in a few minutes.....

as for traffic.....i just know that the spring/summer months produce less traffic for this site. that could be due to the reasons that most people are typically away from the computer and outside due to the nicer weather than fall/winter months. traffic for the site is completely organic and zero has been spent on advertising (ppc or banner advertising). also, if you look at the 2007 stats posted in the first post, you will see that the spring/summer months were lower there as far as traffic and then picked back up in the fall/winter.

 

I am very interested, can you please pm me url and proof of revenue and we'll go from there.

also domain is registered at godaddy. i have the .net and .tv extensions as well.

the .tv extension has videos uploaded for my niche by some users of my site. the software is used for the .tv is free and they pay you for the amount of videos viewed. i have not really promoted the .tv aspect of the site, but it is PR4 as well and makes a couple dollars a month.

i have a dedicated server, but i also have 5 other sites hosted on it (2 other pretty large sites).....so you definitely would not need as large of a server as i have currently for a single large site.

however, i would suggest having a dedicated server for this site.....it will definitely not run on a shared hosting account. i can recommend a host if you need one. you should be able to get a good enough server for about $150 or less a month. of course you are welcome to host the site anywhere you wish so you could find hosting cheaper if you look around.....
