Im writing some articles to submit to help get some links to my website, im new at this, here is my question. When i place my url in the article do i need to attach anchor text ?, im totally new to all this, i have a general idea but im really not sure. i have a credit card website, and im trying to target 4 different keywords to get ranked on, can somebody exsplain the proper way to format a good article that will help me start getting ranked for my keywords.

That's true! Links in the beginning of the article should have more value.

 

Article is related to your website and use all the keywords while writing article.

 

Use the different keywords to target. Don't use only one. Article writing can really help your site that's you must use other keywords and not to stick with one only.

 

Good advice. I tried writing articles to get links. To begin with I'd get about 50 links per article but over the following weeks, the linking sites disappeared. This may not be the case for all types of article however. Nowadays I post articles on my own blog and try to promote the blog itself.
