not bad, but logo needs to be cleaned up.
it's quite cartoonish... can you use a different more business like font.. and some spotlights in a dark black background

bitwer, I think u got the right idea .. sort of .. I like the logo ..

but how would it look on a site and/or business card?

I like how you have the indianShowtimes.com, but can you remove the 'stars' and the woman .. maybe put in some different spotlights .. I have these those spotlights many times before .. (take a look at the work done on my current logo) at the site

nice work, but the logos don't work for me . they are not web 2.0ish . .
the spotlights don't work. they are pieced together .. from somewhere it looks like
the font is cartoonish ..

This is not a personal website which I am creating. The site will used worldwide by visitors ..
think of www.zvents.com how professional their logo is .. it's an events site, not a dj or party site.

I will be ending this contest tonight, June 21 at 9pm EST .. I haven't found any logos to my liking.

Final requirement overview:

Indian Showtimes is an Events Website (similar to www.zvents.com)
People come to the website to see what's going on in their town.

1) Web 2.0
2) Should look great on a black background
3) Should look good on business letterhead or businesscard
4) No spotlights please. No logo for DJ or Party website...
5) My current logo is here click and I love it, but it's time a change (hint hint, get some ideas)
6) I am not looking for any crazy fonts. If you can make the I and Indian and S in Showtimes stand out, then great.
7) The logo should be brandable. If someone sees it they will know what it means (see website the 3 icons to the left are brandable for this site)

Pretty simple .. be creative.
