A couple of points I need clarifying please before I get started.... If a person decides to buy my e-book they are taken to the Clickbank purchase page. Do they just pay there then get redirected back to my web page to download the book or do they download it from the Clickbank page? What happens if they find my website through a search engine and not via an affiliate. They will still pay through Clickbank but do I keep all the money as no affiliate was involed. If so, what would Clickbank's commission be? Any help appreciated. Andy
From your questions I assume you are a publisher, so here are the answers: 1) After the customers pay they are redirected to a page on your site called the "Thank you" page to get what they paid for. ClickBank will ask you to create such a page before they approve your product. 2) If someone buys your product without going through an affiliate you get your part and the affiliate's part, which is 100% of what's left after ClickBank takes its part. Good luck, and welcome to the forum! nadavs
- They pay to clickbank and they are taken to your site to download it - If they find your site without an affiliate, you keep all the money after clickbank take their usual fees. I hope this helps
Your questions are pretty much answered. I will only add the info on the clickbank commissions. According to the ClickBank FAQ, they charge 7.5% + $1 on every sale made (the recurring sales charge is different). For example, the affiliate commissions for a product that offers 55% commission with the retail price of 29.95$ would result in 14.69$ payout to the affiliate: Retail Price: $29.95 Subtract 7.5% + $1: -$3.25 Net Sale Amount: $26.70 55% of the remainder: $14.69
