This is getting annoying, in domain/site section all you can see is ''Url please''
    ''pm the Url please''

    What do you think!

Doh! I don't think it's the right place to post this... Maybe in ''General Chat''
Can a mod please move this thread.

    Thank you!

I think your poll sucks you should have a choice for none.

    reason being is this ....

Howard Stern when he was on radio and was given permission in the beginning to mention sirus satelite radio was told he couldn't any more and he reverted to uhuhuh well that helped him circumvent the new ruling but it was silly. (everyone still knew what he was talking about when he said uhuhuh LOL)

Is the whole reason to have forums is to get information, and find information and tell people about programs. I know just like everyone on here they want to get paid. Well why would I want to tell someone or a whole group lets say 92k members a generic site that I can earn money on. My time just like everyone's time is worth something and we all get paid by what we do. The way we get paid is by telling people about programs that work and there are that just tell people about programs just to scam. but generally most people are trying to earn an honest buck.

The only way to earn an honest buck is to say hey I got this site come and join at xyz.com and you will get this or that. If people just send people to the main page unless that page is a matrix program where it really doesn't matter who signs up who then and people get placed automatically under other people then its really not worth the time or effort to write about it or tell others. So postings will drop.

Being vague and not give a whole lot of information is the whole purpose to get serious minded people that want to make a buck or to an incentive to ask for more information and there for the person supplying the information is getting paid for the sign up or referral.

What is going to happen next a new rule stating now you have to be specific on what you talk about so everyone can understand very clearly what you are talking about?

yes postings are going to drop but I guess that is what happens when a police state is enforced.

I dont think its fair saying that we are not allowed to ask people to PM us. Sometimes its nessasary, why does the admin care about this anyway?

"PM me with the info please"

    multiply that by 10,000

    thats a problem.

do it and get an infraction, don't do it and no infractions are given.

hey hey, we all do it from time to time when we're trying to do business. But I'll admit it does get quite annoying sometimes seeing all the "PM ME DETAILS" posts everywhere.

But its not spam though. You need to ask the thread poster to contact you in some way. How do you do this without saying PM me please?

You cant do that because if you do that then you get an infraction:

we going to the HOWARD STERN state
(where he had to say on national radio uhuhuh after he was given permission to talk about sirus radio)

where you have to say UHUHUH if someone wanted more information.

If you read saying UHUHUH at all is just not allowed and will get you an infraction so I just wouldn't say it at all.

I think if you are interested in a thread and there are allot of uhuhuh ok fine. but when there are only uhuhuh and the only response after that is pm sent each time that should be a violation.

I just don't understand how you can contact people if you cannot initiate the contact first or how they are going to contact you if you don't asked to be contacted. considering that the rules work both ways so why have a PM system in the first place.

There is a supply and demand system here DP supplies us a place to post stuff there are people that demand to know more information about what they are told but you can't put links out and why again would you want to have people sign up for a program, etc if the person putting the post up isn't going to get a benefit out of it.

With them making this change the only one's who will benefit are those that just right articles and get paid and those that have services to sell such as creating websites etc.

everyone else is cut out of this whole picture don't think that is very fair.

That's exactly correct. The OP can request in their opening post that people should PM them for more information. That's fine.

What isn't fine and what gets infractions are when people start posting a load of junk in the thread: e.g. 'Interested,' 'Send me info,' 'pm me details,' etc. etc.

so your saying that its ok to put if your interested pm me for details. But I thought I read somewhere that nobody could use the pm me for details or if interested at all anywhere in any thread what so ever.

I agree I think the first person should be the only one that asks for those to pm them for details but then what do you do when everyone pm's you and you send the details out but there are no posts. Now your topic is completely dead because you cannot bump your own threads and if you post the same thread 2x then you get violated again.

i don't think your getting it.

the person who starts the thread cannot say, "post here for more info".
they can say, "pm me for more info".

if someone comes along and posts, "pm me the info", that gets an infraction as the OP clearly has stated to PM them for the info.

    get it?

    100% agree with thats

most of the OP started the thread for looking the benefit by referring another member to their program so he/she should asking another members to PM and then replying with the referral link since there is no chance to post it on the thread :D

Is that part of the new rules? Does the OP get an infraction for stating that when starting a new thread? Would like some clarification on this.
