So it took me about a year and a half to get my website hotbuckles.com to the top of the google for the keyword "Belt Buckles". I have build the most comprehensive site with the biggest selection of products and made it as user friend as possible for an OsCommerce shopping cart... Two weeks ago this chump took my #1 spot, he doesn't have a good looking site, no wording and he has maybe 1/20 of the number of pages i have indexed What might be the possible reason and how do i get myself back up there
Maybe he has more backlinks. Try searching for link:yoursite.com and link:hissite.com and see which one returns more results and higher PR pages.
I know that, but if you look at my site you will see that i have done almost everything right in sense of SEO.... So it's been driving me crazy the past weeks
I know i need to build one way links for high ranked pages and i have'nt really done that. Any suggestion to doing that quickly and efficiently without being fined by the searche engines?
firstly, google does not report all links and i guess you do understand that google uses a page rank algorithm for thier link popularity so i would just plug away at backlinking but other than that next week the honeymoon may be over for google and the site: so might need to do very little backlinking
#1 SERP has 6242 links and you show 1413 on Site Explorer. So, sure more links are going to help you and getting links (and deep links) with anchor text including belt buckles and just belt buckles are a great idea. You have a big advantage with that many indexed pages. You can create links (with anchor text ... not HOME) within your own site from internal pages to the home page and other important landing pages that will add to your page relevance and increase juice for those pages.

So he has more incoming links... WOW... Now think that i'm slow and try to explain better about the internal linking... If you can that is.
You can use link building tips such as blog posting however for a belt buckle site i am not sure how easier this would be.
I actullay started a blog a few days a go trying to be proactive at beltbuckles1.blogspot.com/ I have content to put in but need a set of hands to post as i am not the most creative.... LOL
Have more backlinks, more accurate backlinks like etc. Put that in your sig here as well, no matter how often you visit this place. And have your link on an other website like belt buckets.
You should use stumble-upon and stumble your site because the other guy did it with his. That's a good backlink right there.
StumbleUpon have no seo benefits. You will get more visits, maybe. I don't think you'r footer will help you very much from now on.If i'm not wrong, that is spam and google spoted you . Try to link the words with some related pages from you'r site.

Part of the western belt buckles niche is eagle belt buckle, bull belt buckle and texas star belt buckles which you'll be able to find in this buckle store category. Get your western belt buckles today! Link the red text back to this page: http://www.hotbuckles.com Do this everywhere you have content where you use the phrase "belt buckle" within the content. Don't do it multiple times on any particular page. Link to the first "belt buckle" or "belt buckles" in the content (as close to the top as possible) You can help yourself a little too by including <h1> tags that include keywords on your pages. The H1's can be reduced in size to normal or slightly larger than normal text to keep the page from looking different and will help "on page" a little. What's up with the <head> sections at the bottom of each page? You should be able to get #1 back pretty easily I think if you plan your linking campaign properly. If you are making some money get some quality links too like botw.org and dir.yahoo.com. your #1 SERP doesn't have either of these quality links.
He's making a terrible job of buying links. Sure its ranking him now but leaving a huge footprint thats easily detectable. pr6 bought link - belt buckle link above the navigation of a burger bar website? PR4 Bought link - jammed in a sentence along with links for photocopiers and Bulgarian real estate. pr4 paid link - in a video trailers site, along with a link for a UK linen shop. None of them are even close to looking natural. Either up your own link buying, or if your own link profile is clean, you can try and report him. Though that might not give you any joy for months/years if at all.

I don't know whats the <head> on the bottom of each page are... but maybe that is something in my admin section that lets me add footer notes to individual cat's. I will act upon your suggestions
