5 of my sites' PR dropped by 2 last week, and it did not recovered. I see no other problems, traffic growing, SE pos stayed same, no problems in webmaster tools.

I would like to know how is this possible, is this a penality or what ?

I can 100% guarantee they won't solve you problem for you if you email them.

They don't answer questions like that.

The correct procedure to contact google is to get down on your knees, put your hands together, and bow your head. Then quietly, in a voice barely above a whisper, ask them whatever you want. Dont worry, they are listening, they will hear you.

You might not get a direct answer back. Again, don't worry. Google works in mysterious ways. Instead of expecting a direct answer, try looking through Google analytics and Google Webmaster Central for the personalized wisdom from Google that you are seeking.

I can definitely verify that the last thing Google wants to hear is any kind of question about your PR.

Click this link http://www.google.com/support/bin/request.py to submit a contact form for Google, however if it's done in a right way like: Be honest and explain your situation... they will reply, as the always replied all my questions :)

After all if you have a Google account and you have already added your website to the Web Masters Tools, then you Request a Reconsideration from the right hand menu or by clicking this link:
    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration?hl=en

Hope i was clear enough - REP is Appreciated :)

They don't have a webmaster help desk, let alone answer a specific question about a sites PR or ranking.

If your PR goes down, just accept it and move on. They change the PR algorithm constantly; this time they changed it in a way that happens to not favor your site. It's unlikely they could identify and explain to you the exact change that led to the event even if they wanted to, which they don't.

Hmmm... I think this PR problem is because of the Sandbox Effect. All affected sites are new. Maybe Googlebot realised too late that few month old websites can't get PR 4-5 and it dropped back :S...

It could be because the PR of sites linking to yours dropped or you have fewer inbound links? It can also be because the percieved quality of your site has gone down since the last PR update.
