Press Release Vs Copyright any problem ?

    Me planed a press release Site. Data Source from Google,yahoo,ask,lycos & many more, RSS ..........will suscribe to all press release it may be anything. Then Publish at my site. Is there any Copyright Issue for publisging at my Site. Is there any chance anyone can sue me at Future ?

    Honestly, I can't decipher your English code.

    I'm guessing that you want to use a press release on your Web site? If so, yes you can. That's the whole point of a press release.

    If that's not what you're asking, perhaps someone else can figure it out.

    The only I can understand is that copyright questions don't belong here.

    Other than this I can't figure out what mytechguru means or any future for a website written this way :eek:

    1. He wants to build a press release site.
    2. The press releases will be obtained through great ones like Yahoo, Lycos, etc.

    Now he wants to know if he can be sued for copyrights infringement if he 'copies' releases from them and pastes them to their site.

    yes, you will have copyright problems :D

    you can pull RSS feed and publish on our PR site. However you may need to ask permission from the site where the PR is published. some allow free while others dont!

    Actually, no you won't.

    Press releases can be copied in its entirety or used partly for a story. That's the whole point of a press release.

    Why not encourage people to submit press releases to your site and use rss feeds to supplement.
