Do you like the new Google icon?

    nope, I like the old one.
    But what I think they should do with the new one is make it transparent. It has a grey-shine on it. I don't like that..

    I'm undecided... at first I just didn't like the little g, especially as so many of us have referred to Google as Big G over the years. But in light of marketing psychology it's pretty interesting that Google appear to be trying to "soften" their character/icon and maybe perhaps away from the Big Brother/Big G connotation and be seen as more modest, down-to-earth, more "lower case" and accessible.

    I expect Google are watching this topic with interest to gauge whether this is a permanent change or not... :)

    If you look closely, it's just a very small version of the lower-space "g" in Google. I'm still getting used to it, but it's not that bad.
