Yeah i will have CC only after i join job i.e. 3 months from now. Now options to verify paypal are VCC which is very risky and i never want to make my acc. limited. So now can i use dad's CC in my acc to verify paypal.
Yes it might be risky because urs n dads name would be diff... and CC will has his name. Can u change name in paypal i'm not sure.
Yes, you can verify your PayPal account using your dad's credit card. My friend has verifies his paypal using my credit card and he is not having any problems currently.
Yes, You can use your dad's credit card for verifying your account, Though this is not official allowed. As an alternative to VCC, This is more advisable, Simply enter the ref number in the transaction which would be billed to your dad's card account and your account would be verified
The purpose of Verification is to determine that you are the person who signed up for the paypal account. If you use your dad's credit card, it is like saying that your dad is you. It is pretty much the same as if you use your dad's passport when you travel and claim that is you. In some countries that can be deemed as identity theft.
I got my paypal verified by using my cousin's CC more than 3 years ago and everything is just fine. So i advice you to go ahead with the option of using your dad's CC.
i am already verified thanx to all who cleared mu doubts..dads CC is allowed (same last name) but if u don't think it's safe u can use prepaid ccs like payoneer, entropay etc but not gift cards or vccs
I am pretty sure that the Credit Card verification is used, mostly, for location verification. I may be wrong, but regardless, some people may not have a credit card. Which is why PayPal allows you to change the first name of the credit card owner. This tells me that you are allowed to use a direct relative's credit card for verification.

you can use your mom or dad's paypal as long as you are permitted and don't forget to get the vital information you need in filling up your paypal account
No, I don't think that is the reason. The thing is that on the credit card application form, you can state the Name on the Card as if I am not wrong is limited to 45 characters. It will allow for people to probably take out their middle name or in the case of Chinese, to use their 'Christian' names instead of their chinese name. The whole purpose is not about allowing you to use your relative's identity to verify you. Can you say take your dad's passport and use that to travel ? Because that is what you say you can do. Verification is about using a 3rd party independent means (in this case, your credit card bank) to determine that you provide real and accurate information.
