I want to start a new site(will hopefully become public within the next 12 hours :D)

    I just have one problem

the site is going to be DP related
will there be any legal issues with shawn about this?

I wont be taking any revenue or traffic away from DP
lol i dont think i could if i wanted to

technically you're not supposed to, but you could probably get away with it (since digital and point are both english words).

Type the words 'digital point' into a firefox browser url bar.. hit enter.

Now do you really want to compete with that SEOwise?

hehe I just clicked the link in your siggy, I might just spend a buck on that sir ;) For the fun in it.

If Shawn thinks that way as well, then there shouldn't necessarily be issues.
Of course, if he changes his mind, then that's a different story.

I've checked back. I don't think Shawn would have any problem with that. Eventhough your making a a bit money but I personally don't think he'll take it seriously. Webmasters tend to be more open-minded than legal departments from Ebay or Paypal..:)

p/s- I will edit this post and say "low income webmaster like me tend to be more open-minded" if he seriously did sue you for using the name..LOL :p
