FireFox 3 vs Opera 9.5

opera is better as in speed though

 

Opera is not much faster but Firefox plugins is not much lesser (more, more and more). I will use Opera if it is very much faster.

 

Try Apple Safari its more faster than Firefox & Opera.

 

I did not also use opera. I'm using firefox and I'm contented with it.

 

Opera is faster, got some features that firefox does not has but I guess firefox is better and popular.

I just Installed Firefox 3, I think FireFox 2 was much better.

In the Address bar when I try to type something it gives weird results for me unlike FF2.
A sure Negative point if they don not improve on this I'm going back to FF2.

 

I like Firefox but only for some of the plugins. But I just downloaded the new Opera 9.5 and it's even faster. YES it's faster than Firefox 3.
Opera has a very smoothe scrolling which is nice, the default skin is amazing and I've always loved the speed dial. It's very clean.

In my opinion, Firefox is overrated for sure. It just has a big list of plugins. I'll probably be using both browsers alot. Firefox when working and Opera for everything else.

 

Yeah bobzuk i think ff is more comfort from opera... im from 1 years only with FF and think this is the best browser. Have many plugins, skins and more options..

 

Firefox 3 for the win!!

 

I always used Firefox and Firefox 3 is great all though I don't really like the theme on linux ubuntu since it uses the GNOME theme...=(
About Opera, I only used it to test things and I never really liked it, I just download the newer version and it's AWESOME.
It's faster and I really like how it looks like when you scroll, the look is great but I'll stick to firefox <3

 

They released 3.0 on tuesday. Catch up.

 

I prefer Opera. It looks cleaner and to me is faster. But Firefox is great for the plugins. Firefox 3 is a good step forward.

 

I was a die hard firefox fan - because of all the cool plugins - i have also tweaked firefox with the speed+ config mod.

However i recently installed opera - about a week ago and WOW it is fast - really FAST - so fast that i even set up a blog on opera.com and thanked them!

If you need speed there is no comparison

 

Nothing can beat Firefox.. It rocks.

 

Im a firefox user, ex-Internet Explorer user, but after reading this thread, I might get Opera and ditch FF.

 

Opera is faster then ff, but there are sites that won't work with opera so you have to use firefox or if you r looking for the to use the slowest browser the ie!!!

 

its very hard to determine a faster one. Apple claims Safari is the fastest, test shows FireFox is the fastest, and Opera just runs fast.

I use FF3, as I find it both incredibly fast, reliable, adaptable, and very safe.

 

I pick neither the fastest browser is FireFox 2 with FasterFox addon installed.

 

than i must have missed about 90%, Opera is nice but FF pwns them all
