Anyone Make Their Own Cigarettes??

Today I thought about how much money I am wasting per week on packs of cigarettes. I smoke marlboro lights, about 1 pack a day. Marlboro Lights are priced at $3.60 a pack, even though this is cheap considering what other states are paying for.

So I calculated each month, at one pack a day would cost me about $100 if I bought 3 cartons. Thats $1,000 a year for just cigarettes!! Thats insane.

So I went to the local smoke shop and purchased a nice cigarette maker, which makes beautiful cigarettes! Purchased the rolls, and then a big bag of tobacco.

It woul cost me around $12 for a carton of cigarettes(200 cigs). So three cartons per month would put me at $36, and for the year it would cost me $432.

I would save almost $600 making cigarettes on my own! Thats awesome!

After a long day of making my own cigarettes, I finally got to enjoy them. They are a bit different than the marlboro lights I used to smoke, but they are pretty good! Just have to get used to the new tobacco smoke.

Even though smoking is terrible for you and I do want to quit smoking soon if I have the will power, this is a smart idea for anyone who wants to save quite a bit of money.

Smoking is bad but it costs less than having children. Besides in England ciggies are around $10 a pack.

I guess making your own cigarettes has a lot of advantages. It's cheaper, and you know that since YOU made it, it doesn't have any chemicals or crap that corporations throw in.

$3.60 for a packet of cigarrettes? Where are you? Where I am from a packet of 25's cost at least $9, and that was when I used to smoke. Buying tobacco like that does make it work out a lot cheaper, you just need to get used to the new flavour.

I drink, but I don't smoke. But yeah; making your own cigarettes is cool. You put in some effort into making ciggies and finally you get to enjoy a nice, long smoking session. It gives you a sense of accomplishment. :D

Cigerette making machine? Bugger that, just roll them yourself.

I used to smoke, rollups were the way to go :D cheap and it made you work a bit to have one (rolling them).

Sigh... I am also a smoker. Cigarettes in our country are very expensive (nearly SGD$12 bucks per pack) and I am thinking of quitting but find it very difficult to do so. Maybe my willpower is not good enough. :(
