Unique Site For Sale - Approx $3000 Revenue Last Month

Hi

I have a pretty unique site available for sale (maybe). There are other sites like it but none quite like it.

I will post the stats from last month below for traffic, revenue etc. This month is looking to be much better in all aspects. The site has been growing day by day, month by month.

Traffic - 1 Month

Unique Visitors - 140,000
Page Views - Almost 500,000

Avererage UV a day - 5000+
Average page views a day - 15,000+

The site is only a pr3 for some strange reason as google seems to love it and has done for a long time. It appears top rankings for hundreds of keywords and phrases.

It is even having a little head to head battle with another site on google.co.uk for the term f.ree m oney (spelt correctly)

The site has an alexa page rank of 49,500

The site has been around for about 3+ years but i changed it about a year ago to the way it is now.


Members

The site currently has 17,255 members

It gets approx 200 free membership signups a day

We had 4200 members join up last month and we are 300 members from beating that this month (19/june)

Promotion

I do not promote the site at all or very, very little.

At least 90% of traffic comes from google as we rank so high for much sought after keywords and phrases.


Revenue

subscription earnings - Approx £800/$1600

Adsense earning - Approx $650

Other product sales - Approx $400

Affiliate programs - Approx $400

Total approx - $3000

Will be doing much better this month and no doubt the month after and the month after ................. . . . .

To be honest i am just trying to find out what its worth.

I will obviously sell it if anyone makes me a good enough offer.

 

I noticed for the amount of members signed up the posts are far and few between. For example out of all those threads only a handful posted yesterday and then it starts to tail of to the 17th and then the 13th of June etc. Any reason why not many are posting for the size of memberships?

Yes that is true about there not being a lot of posts compared to members. Thats just the way it is with this site.

A lot of people join up to download things with no intention of posting.

I swear down that i have not ever used any "robots" or anything else to build this forum.

 

Well what is the rough idea you are looking at as a price?

 

Start the bidding off at $10,000 cos its worth more than that.

I think with the right care and attention the site could be earning $10,000 per month in a few months time.

The site is very poorly motenised at the minute.

 

So what kind of maintainance is required for this site and how much upkeep and what all does the owner need to do to keep it growing?

 

Just general maintenence like you would on any other forum.

We dont get that much spam and we dont get no robots spam.

The site basicly promotes itself via google.

I havn't done any real promotion on this site in at least a year.

I find it hard to believe that you would be willing to accept 10k for a site that is already earning 3k pm. If you expect site profits to escalate imminently as you say, you could have your 10k in a couple of months and still own the site.

Concusion: site not earning 3k pm.

Im hoping someone will see the pottential in this and make me an offer worth accepting. I am going to thailand for 6 months in a few weeks so dont really want to be spending my time on it while im out there.

The site earned approx 3K last month and WILL beat that this month with very little or no promotion.

I am currently gathering proof of earning, traffic etc.

Main income stream seems to be earnings from subscriptions. Is this a paid forum? Signup for the forum seems to be free so where can people signup for a paid subscription? And what are the advantages of a paid subscription? What are rates for a subscription? Can you let us see a page where someone can sign up? Sorry for all the questions but it seems I'm missing something here.

Paid subscriptions info

At the minute i am charging £10/$20 for a lifetimes membership.

The only benefit that members currently have of becoming a paid members is that they can download files and attachments

We have few downloads on the site at the min but we do have some good ones.

Obviously the more available for download the more people will pay to join and the more people will join.

While testing with prices about 2 months ago i had it set at £34/$67 for a lifetimes membership and people were paying it.

I decided to lower the price till i had more downloads on and thats where its stuck.

I recently changed the ways downloads are listed so have lost quite a few but it will be much better for search engines the way it is now.
