Can anyone tell me why I have zero pagerank with google even though the website is five years old with around 3000 inbound links ( tested with Iwebtools) but I have zero pagerank? Nearly all are relevant inbound links. I often update the sites with useful infomation and useful relevant outbound links. the website is lakegarda.biz I have tried everything to imporove my serps, pr and page ranking but it just wont change. I have other sites with maybe 20 inbound links with pr4 like yellowpages-uganda.com please help
1. 3000 inbound links for a site that has more or less zero traffic ... even Google realizes that such links never can be organic quality links but must result from some sort of link farming or link exchange program!! 2. instead of creating new content I would suggest you invest a few hours in correcting all your HTML code errors that may make your site's appearance more welcoming for SEs. 3. if you want to be a reputable site for that lake, may be an entry in DMOZ may help you to improve your reputation for G .....
You've fallen into a situation where, yes, there is such a thing as too many backlinks. Just try to make your site as bot-friendly as possible and don't associate with link farms.
Most likely those 3000 backlins dont pass pagerank. The age of a site has not much today with PR "only" with SERP.
may be the links that you are gaining backlinks from are not cached on regular basis. most of them might be poorly indexed or not considered as authoritative sites
