Pizza, both the republican and democratic party have been hijacked and both of these candidates will do as they are told by the special interest groups that control them. the big banks have all made it possible for obama just as much as mccain. Now if Ron Paul were here then maybe i would say we have a genuine chance at chance because he is addressing the root problems that we have today instead of more rah rah rah pep talks from the stooges on both sides.

 

1. Because the only alternative is John McCain.

 

Why is McCain bad? He wants to help solve the fuel crisis while Obama wants to do nothing.

 

It's McCain's "100 year war" in Iraq that I'm worried about. I certainly don't want to get drafted into a war against unarmed civilians (217,000 and counting).

 

I would rather be in a war against the unarmed than the armed. If we were not in war, the terrorist would be raining havoc in the US now. We all seem to forget 9/11.

A foreign occupation based upon a now impossible scenario from 7 years ago is sort of like marching into Japan because "we don't want a repeat of Pearl Harbor".

 

If Japan committed terrorist acts against us I think there would be another warfront.

 

And if Iraq committed terrorist acts against us, then our war there would be somewhat justified.

Folks, Saddam Hussein is dead, Osama Bin Laden is deep in hiding, and we've DONE ALL WE CAN. Let's just get out now and preserve the small scrap of dignity we have left.

 

I am not against leaving the middle east. I thought the perfect time to leave was after the hanging of Hussein.

We actually won the war, and in near record time. It's in winning the peace that we keep getting our ass handed to us.

 

you are probably correct. still Obama can be a link in a chainof real change that started with Dr Dean then RP and Obama. they got their power from bottom up. that is the real change that is happening. 4-12 years who knows where it would leads, How much of the power is going to be generate from the individuals is the question.
