The title says all, a blog is copying content from my blog - word to word/exactly same and even title of the post is same  AND he's ranking better than me

    On his blog -
WhoIs is protected / Comments are off / No Contact Us

So, how to go about it? Looking forward to some suggestions

    suggestions :-
Complain to his hosting company (get the IP of the blog and do a whois on it if it's not obvious)
File a DMCA notice with google.
Leave him/her a note on your blog about legal action ?

use a copyscape banner and protect your pages with copyscape.
check your rss feeds. show your rss feeds as summary, not full posts.

Copyscape banner does not really do anything in stopping them.

Whats his Blog URL and yours. Did you contact his webhost?

You can apply some code. This is easier if your using blogger.com - However such codes will only cause your visitors to decrease because its harder to copy paste ideas from your writing and so on.
I would say just make a new website related to your blog and your opponents blog and let your reader decide. This can easily be SEO optimised so that when your opponents visitors search for his website they will most probably find yours :)
They can see which one is the better. Make solid proofs. Who knows, the copy-cat will probably be begging for you to stop and thats when you can start charging him for all the traffic lost :p:)

Make a blog post, "I'm gay and I copy blog posts" And repeat it. See if he copys that one.

I second vagrant's suggestions: find out who is hosting the blog and contact them to complain. Also: make sure that you have a clear copyright notice on YOUR blog...

You don't have to have a copyright notice on any website for it to be under copyright. As soon as you publish something original, it is your work and under copyright.

Or you can ddos him, keep on crashing the site down.. Than he'll report to his hosting, and in the mean while you've reported him.. And you'll keep on shutting him down till the host shuts him down prem. Thats a shame tho, what kind of a f@G copys of somebody else..

It's said to say it, but there's really nothing that you can do about it really. Trying to contact the person would be logical, but since you can't, there's nothing you can do. And even if you could contact the person, all you can do is ask them to stop copying.

Contact his host and let them know he's using stolen content.

Send a DMCA notice to Google.
