Which is better? CJ or ClickBank?

Discussion in 'Commission Junction' started by Love*, Jun 18, 2008.

Today I was about to sign up with ClickBank because of the numerous inspiring success stories I've read around here in DP, only to realize that ClickBank was not available for my country.

& Since I was really looking forward to trying out affiliate marketing, I decided (since I cannot join ClickBank) to try Commission Junction instead.

I was wondering if there were any of you who are ClickBank & CJ affiliates at the same time?
& Since you have experience with both companies, which do you personally think is better?

From my personal experiences CJ is far better than clickbank because in CJ you get various option to get paid when you promote any program... but in clickbank its just sale... nothing else...

i dont say that lead should be of any focus to anybody for earning... its ultimately the sale... but leads give you the extra juice in promotion and keep you motivated... that's why CJ is best...

Clickbank is limited to digital download stuff. CJ has a wide mix of products and services.

Choose the right product at Clickbank and you may succeed. Click2sell.eu is now the potential competitor of clickbank. Something to watch out.

I think CJ is better cuz it has various consumer products. The buyer don't think much to buy.

There are some good programs in CB, and i stress the word some because its very few. Overall the conversions are better at CJ.com, better customer support or AFF manager, and just seems more trustworthy. But when you start stretching out to almost all niches, you may find yourself promoting a CB product here and there.

I used to see a lot of the clickbank products on Google Ads, I don't know whether they were by the company selling the products or just people trying to make money off redirects, but they seem to have disappeared over time. Yep, you're right about most of the products been crappy.

I much prefer CJ due to he large amount of brand name merchants that tend to convert better than more generic sites.

It's not whether to choose Clickbank or CJ. They are totally different networks. CB focuses on digital products and since recently membership sites are allowed. CJ focuses on physical products. CJ is not an alternative for CB for that reason. There are really good products at CB but you have to take some time to do your research. If you're looking for a CB alternative you may checkout paydotcom.com.

CJ is far more better. I made some bucks with CB but never received a check because of high reversal rate. Most of products on CB are garbage and customer always return product since most of them offer something like "30 days money back guarantee".

A major problem with CB is that it is SO EASY for "customers" "return" the product. Many people simply steal the info and return it for a refund.

It is not as easy to return products bought via CJ as most are tangible.

    Just my 2cents.
