Adbrite Eats My Adsense Earning! Any advice?

I tried putting adbrite ads (in-text ads and full-page ads) on one of my sites a few days ago, with the intention to increase the earning for that site.

Instead, i noticed drop in my Adsense CTR immediately the day that site was serving adbrite ads. I tried to keep it a few more days to see if it picks up, and it didn't. I thought probably since the in-text ads are pretty distracting it lowered my adsense CTR. But AFTER removing the adbrite's in-text ads, the adsense CTR still did NOT pick up.

Should i remove the full page ads too? Anyone who runs adbrite together with adsense, any advice? Because with adbrite i only got a few cents a day for the site, while adsense used to be a few dollars a day. I thought running it all together could increase the rev. :(

Why should you keep Adbrite if with Adsense was better ??? Ofcourse yout adsense CTR will drop, adbrite has more noticeable ads and the visitors who click the adbrite ads goes away from your site.
Adbrite sucks.... Adsense is still the best but this is so annoying.

I said "inline text ads" and "full page ads", not their CPM/CPC ads.

I also said I "thought" it would increase my earnings...

Adding more ads onto your pages wont neccsaarly get them clicked on more, and since ad bright doesnt pay as well as adsense, it makes sense you are going to lose out, so the conclusion is pretty simple lol !

I recommend you to use only in-text-ads and dont use full page ads. I am currently using adbrite with adsense and satisfied with Adbrite earnings.

Adbrite works fine for me, very fine !! and i use it with adsense !!

small adbrite banner in one of the corners cause no harm to my adsense revenue, its just an extra earning i am happy to get :)

fullpage ads are not good, because you send visitors out of your site, when visitors out your site no one clicks on your ads, i dont recommend using adbrite fullpage ads with adsense together.

i used to have kontera in my site, but because of the low earning i took it off my site, and replaced it with adbrite inline ads and the result was good, adbrite inline ads 3x times earning more than kontera.

whats annoying about adbrite is payment .. 60 net, and only checks !! except that i consider adbrite number 2 after adsense.

here is snapshot for today ... and today is not over yet :)

Thanks. Very useful advice so far. But you have 367,024 views and only $147.01, isn't that considered bad? I'm still new with adbrite, so i don't really know how good and how bad could adbrite be for publishers.

I think it's ok as long as the ads are not contextual like adsense ads? Plus, the ads that i put on together with adsense are in-text and full page ads. But considering the others' advice, i'm gonna take it down now i guess.

If you want contextual in-line ads why not try Kontera. It seems to work well with Adsense and is especially good on forums as an additional source of monetization.

If you earn better with adsense, show Adbrite out. Adsense rocks :)
