The gas/petrol you guys have is like rocket fuel compared to the stuff we have though. We pay $4/gallon for 87 octane piss water.

Wow that price is outragous. Are drivers protesting? That price would bankrupt the US. When I travel to England I try to walk or use public transit. Its hard for the middle class to catch a break.

It's only the one petrol station charging this much, and despite him saying its not for profit it probably is, it just looks like hes taking advantage of a situation. Exeter is already one of the most expensive places to get petrol as it is. People are still using the place though, if it were me I'd just go somewhere else

That is one to save and will lower the demand which in return will lower the price.

Most places are about $4 plus for 87
One station however 'I don't know how' but is the new station in town, self serve auto type, sells mostly e-85 and e-20 but does have a 89 octane 10% blend for cheaper than the 10% blends of 87 octane at all other stations!

That's probably why. Taking a hit in the wallet short term to get new customers. It probably won't last too long.(the low prices that is)

Nope, in Wisconsin prices are pretty well regulated.
Somehow they are getting the price wholesale a bit less than the others.

You have to sell gas for X amount over the wholesale price minimum.

Plus they are not that new, just newer. They also are owned by the grocery store 'at least partially' which keeps them hopping, great location and promo's from the grocery store.

Murphy USA (Wal-mart ) does that a lot. They're still quite cheap but only if you but their prepaid cards and use that to buy the gas
