I really like the woopra stats program but I've seen it lag my forum up a few times and I'm thinking about dropping it on my site as well as a few of my clients forums. :(

Is anyone else having problems with Woopra? and in particular, forum owners?

Put the code at the very bottom of your page (after everything except before the </body></html>). In this case it's a good idea to have a backup - for example GoStats to suppliment your data. (Although sharpen the saw and don't waste your time with all the flash - just bookmark the reports that you need and use)

Hmm. When you say it lags your site, do you mean you're sitting at a "Waiting for ..." in the status bar? If so, have you tried placing the script in the footer of your page?

It is important to note that the code not be placed inside any remaining tables. (</td> </tr> </table>, etc) Sometimes the footer will include the table. Make sure that you have pasted it immediately before the </body> tag.

I've noticed that your closing </body> and </html> tags are missing.

You should try removing the code, refreshing the page (check the load time). re-add the code and refresh the page again. If that doesn't provide any extra information on the reason for the load time, I don't know what else to suggest.
