Yeah, all of those people @ My Lai accidentally massacred themselves.

Boy, I bet the Vietnamese sure wished we hung around to help them out some more!

Yes, the whole concept of sending a guy with an arrest warrant to Afghanistan and trying to serve it on Osama bin Laden is completely laughable. Only a complete moron could buy into something that stupid.

Did we write out a warrant for Adolph Hilter's arrest? Did we send a sherrif to Berlin to serve the papers and "bring him back alive"? No, of course not. This is war.

When the U.S. armed forces were staged outside of Afghanistan, we told the Taliban "Give up Osama bin Laden or we're coming in." They refused to give up Osama bin Laden and we went in.

As a hugely positive side effect, we also freed thirty two million people from the tyranny and oppression of the Taliban. That's a huge win for freedom and liberty for the human race.

LOL. How do you know?

Did you learn this from playing weekend warrior on the campground or from playing video games?

It is so funny when you try to play the "MAN" and pretend that you know something about war or combat. :D

Hey gworld, why don't you try to make an argument for once.

For example, when I say "Combat is nasty and confusing" and you feel the emotional urge to reply, you could disagree and post "Combat is nice and simple."

Then at least you would be on topic...

Seems like that if they survive from the Us Army.
If we look at a previous example ( I am not counting Iraq yet)
    Vietnam:

in 1995, the Vietnamese government reported that its military forces, including the NLF, suffered 1.1 million dead and 600,000 wounded during Hanoi's conflict with the United States. Civilian deaths were put at two million in the North and South, and economic reparations were expected. Hanoi concealed the figures during the war to avoid demoralizing the population.[136]

By the way 32 million is the estimated total population of Afghanistan if all are freed where is(was) the Taliban :)

The argument was that people like you who hide under their beds, don't know jack about combat and war and they just sound ridiculous when they pretend that they know. :D

Hanoi didn't have a conflict with the United States.

Communist North Vietnam attacked and invaded free South Vietnam. The U.S. came to the aid of a free people who wanted to remain free.

Well, we did for awhile. Then we fell victim to the Communist fifth column operating in our own country.

After that, we abandoned our allies to be massacred wholesale by the marauding Communists.

All of Afghanistan was freed from the Taliban -- although it is true that the Taliban is still around and is still exercising it's powers of tyranny and oppression wherever a soldier of freedom is not present.

Just in 2007, for example, Al Qaeda and the Taliban burned 150 schools to the ground, forced 305 more to close, and murdered 105 students and teachers.

Clearly, there is more work to be done. But, who here can honestly argue that the right thing to do is to abandon these thirty two million people to live and die under the tyranny of rule by a relative few Islamic extremists?

You don't even know who the Taliban are or what they are about.

It's like your rantings about Vietnam, where millions of innocent Vietnamese died, and even today, children are dying from mines or being disfigured by Agent Orange.

I don't know how you can have all of the benefits of living in the West, admittedly being somewhat proficient with the intertubes, and yet so utterly clueless about seeing a bigger picture.

The Infowars article team do a decent job once or twice a day of sourcing major media sources to put together features.

Infowars is top 15 for political sites according to a list that Lew Rockwell recently published. More people visit Infowars than visit John McCain's site.

    Prison Planet was top 25.

And at one time a lot of people thought the Earth was flat.

The popularity of a bad idea doesn't make it any less bad.

Hitler was pretty popular in Nazi Germany. That didn't make him any more technically correct or morally right.

I serious think AJ may be bipolar. Like he'll be talking(yes I listen to his show for entertainment purposes) and all of a sudden he'll freak out and start screaming about how he's going to defeat the NWO. He's like the crazy guy in the park with the cardboard doomsday sign.

    It's not about popularity Will.

It's about reach, ability to sell advertising.

The same thing would have happened to South Korea if it wasn't for Joe McCarthy.

There are a lot of parallels between then and now, but with one very odd difference.

Back then, those 350 Soviet agents worked in hiding.

Today, the agents of America's enemies don't work in hiding -- they flaunt their disloyalty.

They act as public disinformation agents. They spread lies and discontent. They quote each other to build up each other as authority figures. They have taken over the Democratic party -- even though they make up only a minority of the party membership. They are now starting on the Republican party, although their presence there is far less welcome.

They protest against U.S. interests, both here and abroad. They promote kooky environmental, economic, and political theories. They work diligently to gum up the works of commerce, society, and democracy.

And yet, our native democratic institutions have no natural defenses against them. They are viruses -- parasites -- living off of our flesh and weakening our national health.

We are on the precipice of a very dangerous time for America.

That's so weak, you should slap yourself for posting it. Contemptible.

I hope they are. I find the articles and show interesting, and I'm a capitalist. When the consumer is pleased, the vendor should profit.

No, they are the SCIFI of politics. Michelle Malkin's Hot Air and Little Green Turdballs are the WWF.

Somehow those sites turned hating Islam a core part of conservatism.

Are you talking about the My Lai massacre? Or did we have massacres there too, they just never saw light of day?

Indeed. The Soviets are running the welfare/warfare state. Instead of taking total control of the means of production, they have taken total control of the measure of production, fiat paper money.

Just as the Soviets ran their economy into the ground in Afghanistan and elsewhere, what conclusion do you think the last 50 years of Guns and Butter will have? We're as much as 100 trillion in the hole for future entitlement benefits. That's the cost of your ideology. Welfare, warfare, doesn't matter. Both destroy wealth. But warfare destroys it very, very quickly.
