Google testing new interactive adsense ads!

Just came across adsense interactive ads on my travel directory.



Have you guys seen anything like this?

 

great, its better than those text ads where we can't really do anything

 

Yup I found it quite interesting, I guess more interaction a user can have with an ad, more likely it is that they will click it.

 

Those have been out for months if not longer. I personally haven't seen an increase in clicks because of it.

 

They have been working on those ads for awhile now, since September 07 I think, they are going to compete with companies like auction ads, and widget bucks. Who knows how long it will take for them to reach publishers as a choice though.

 

this type of Ads is more pritty to click on!

Looks great. Haven't seen those before. Maybe those are US only for testing period..

 

Do you have text or text/image ad types ?

 

I had them on some sites for a while now. They might help with more clicks

 

That block has only image ads turned on.

 

I'm yet to see them on my sites. Hopefully, they'll get me more clicks

 

Thanks for the tips. After the improved search box, google adsense have now their new interactive ads. It's great.

 

look better....has anybody noticed more clicks cause of them ?

 

I envy MSN flash adverts where it can roll over the entire page. Adsense doesn't have those yet right?

 

Never really liked those, seems a bit intrusive and might act as a turn off for visitors.

Interesting.. I wonder what will be the average CTR for this type of ads.

 

That’s what I like to know as well, sadly haven’t seen it on my travel sites and the directory doesn’t generate much clicks.

 

These ads could increase CTR.
